Hacienda del Mar explored the development potential of an underutilized urban property in Revere. DBA developed a five-story multifamily concept through zoning, code, site-planning and capacity analysis.

The engagement advanced through schematic design, establishing a clear architectural proposition and approximately 13,000 square feet of development potential. The work made the scale and character of the opportunity visible before the client elected not to pursue a project of this size.

As a development study, the project demonstrates the value of using architecture early: not simply to illustrate a building, but to test what a site can credibly become.
